My mission:
To work with you so you love your space again
I am that friend. The one whose car doesn’t have trash in it and doesn’t lose her car keys…
… at least that’s me 98% of the time. I love a good collection of things that make me happy when I see them even if they have no monetary value and someone else would have tossed them long ago. I mention this because we all have those items in our lives.
No matter how much time we spend admiring beautiful photos of boutique worthy living spaces, we all actually live in our spaces. I thrive on the old “there is a place for everything” saying and will employ it. I’ve read Marie Kondo, watched in fascination as the ladies of the Home Edit work their rainbow style magic and others have categorized people as various types of insects. All of these approaches to organizing have lessons and ideas galore. I want to see the perfected spaces a year later. Has the space worked for the people it was returned to? Because, at the end of the day, it is your space.
Helping you create a starting point is my area of expertise, after eight years working for an interior designer as an assistant and the official office organizer. I can appreciate all the beautiful, uncluttered spaces but they’re so much better when it’s easy to keep them that way even when you live in them every day, even when you live with other people and pets.
